BELTON, MO (June 2015) – Safe Fleet is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Haushalter to the Safe Fleet family. Bill joins Safe Fleet in the role of Vice President of Business Development and Product Management for Elkhart Brass. In this newly created position, he is responsible for leading the Customer Service, Product Management, and Marketing organizations within the Elkhart Brass brand.
Bill brings over 30 years of business development, marketing and general management experience. Most recently, he served in the role of Business Development and Pricing Leader for Temple Steel, where he successfully led pricing and product segmentation strategies that provided significant positive EBITDA impact. Prior to his time at Temple, Bill served as the President of OEM Growth Strategies as well as in Vice President positions with Schneider Electric, Commercial Vehicle Group and Stoneridge Corporation.
Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection and Safety Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and an MBA from The Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.
