BELTON, MO (September 11, 2012) — With expanding product lines from acquisitions, R·O·M Corporation (R·O·M), announces several product management changes that will deliver improved customer service.
Steve Touchton, emergency and specialty product manager, has accepted expanded responsibilities for managing the scene lighting product line acquired from Havis Inc. (Havis) in 2011. Before being appointed to product manager, Touchton was mid-central territory manager, serving customers in five states and one Canadian province. An Air Force veteran, Touchton joined R·O·M in 2005 and has 15 years of experience in the fire/EMS markets. Touchton holds a bachelor’s degree in safety engineering.
Cameron Blain has accepted the newly created position of marketing manager. Formerly lighting solutions product manager, Blain is now responsible for all marketing initiatives for all divisions. Blain joined R·O·M in 2011 with the company’s acquisition of the scene lighting line purchased from Havis. At Havis, he served as business development manager. Blain entered the fire/EMS industry in 2004 and holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s in radio/television production.
Dan Caffrey has accepted additional responsibility for managing all truck and trailer products acquired in the 2011 acquisition of Bustin Industrial Products. Previously, Caffrey served as R·O·M’s national food service account manager, primarily responsible for large fleet accounts. Caffrey earned his bachelor in business and has over 20 years’ experience in various facets of food distribution.
Larry Bertrand has accepted a newly created role as Product Manager with R·O·M’s Prime Design division. Bertrand will be responsible for managing the entire portfolio including in-field customer support and fleet sales. Prior to this, Bertrand served as product manager for Bustin’s industrial and engineer to order products. Bertrand holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, and has an extensive background in territory management and sales, with an emphasis on safety products in the commercial vehicle market.
