MONTREAL, Canada – April 23, 2018 – FleetMind Solutions, Inc., part of the Safe Fleet group of companies, today announced that it has continued to significantly grow revenues, profits, and its customer base over the past year. This growth is attributed to a growing market demand for smart truck technologies, FleetMind’s field-proven ability to improve safety and efficiencies for its customers, and the company’s move to strengthen ties and resource collaboration within the Safe Fleet portfolio of leading fleet safety brands. FleetMind will be highlighting its fleet management, video, and safety solutions at Waste Expo 2018 in Las Vegas, NV, April 24-26 in Booth #3407.
“Two years ago, we announced our move into the Safe Fleet family of brands,” said Martin Demers, Vice-President of FleetMind. “By joining this larger organization, we have increasingly been able to provide a greater array of product and services with expanded resources and capabilities to address our customers’ needs. This strategic alignment has more advantageously positioned FleetMind to create and deliver innovative solutions that measurably enhance fleet safety, sustainability, productivity and profitability. Our year-over-year growth and success reflects the benefits of our strengthening ties and
collaboration within Safe Fleet.”
Strong Customer Demand
Over the past year, Fleetmind deployed its smart trucks systems in more than 150 sites in Canada, the USA, New Zealand and Mexico. This included some 35 major municipal centers and 25 private haulers, and totaled over 4,000 vehicles newly equipped with technology
provided by Fleetmind.
New Product and Technology Investments
FleetMind now provides multiple DVR, camera and obstacle detection options for unprecedented insights into and all-around vehicles. With its FleetLink Mobile DVR flagship products, Route Management System, and multiple innovative camera and DVR products from sister companies such as RVS Systems and Seon, drivers and managers can easily take pictures, capture real-time video footage and ensure complete visibility around the truck. This enables the video capture of all internal and external activities from all angles, the identification of any safety issues for rapid remediation, the capture of evidence for accident, and dispute resolution, and the elimination of blind spot areas.
Strategic Patent Acquisition
FleetMind recently purchased Patent No. 7,511,611 from long term partner Casella Waste Systems, Inc. The patent essentially covers the tracking of a waste container with the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), barcodes and other electronic means. The ownership of this patent further strengthens FleetMind’s leadership position in the industry and ensures a great competitive advantage.
The Safe Fleet Family
FleetMind has increasingly integrated and consolidated its strategic operations with four other Safe Fleet technology brands: 1) Seon, a leading provider of mobile surveillance and fleet management solutions in the School and Transit Bus market; 2) RVS Systems, a leader in rear vision and obstacle detection systems; 3) MobileView, a leader in video surveillance systems for Transit; and 4) COBAN, a leading supplier of body cameras and in-vehicle video solutions for Law Enforcement. The enhanced collaboration has deepened its product and development capabilities and further extended the company’s access to added resources and expertise.
